PTFE and PEEK processors and fluoro polymer engineers

Fluoro Pacific is an Australian manufacturer of custom compounded PTFE and PEEK powders and compression moulded PTFE and PEEK semi-finished shapes.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and PEEK (polyetheretherketone) are highly versatile materials that are used to create products for the most demanding of engineering and industrial applications.

Fluoro Pacific manufactures PTFE and PEEK products that are tailor made to meet specific application and performance criteria. Products manufactured from high performance PTFE or PEEK compounds are characterised by having high durability whilst maintaining resistance properties such as chemical, wear and friction, heat and flammability.

We use base premium PTFE and PEEK powders and blend them with relevant filler compounds where necessary to manufacture semi-finished products including rods, tubes and sheets.

We provide solutions to suit your specific needs by:

  • Developing formulations of PTFE or PEEK grades,
  • Flexibility of having production runs that suit your needs.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)

Working with the raw virgin PTFE powder, Fluoro Pacific can produce many compounds including glass, bronze, MoS2, carbon, ceramic, carbon fibre, graphite and stainless steel, in virgin or modified PTFE. With over 45 years experience, our fluoro polymer engineers can also advise on the right filler combinations to blend with PTFE to and enhance an end product's capabilities.

Using cold compression techniques, Fluoro Pacific manufactures products in various geometric shapes including PTFE rods, cylinders and sheets ready for final engineered products. Additionally, lined pipe and fittings can be designed and manufactured using PTFE to withstand the destructive influences of virtually any chemical or corrosive fluids.

PEEK (polyetheretherketone)

The PEEK family of materials is based on polyetheretherketone resin. PEEK is an engineering thermoplastic polymer that features superior chemical and thermal resistance. PEEK can be used as a base resin or combined with other materials such as glass, carbon and some metals to create different moulded shapes with specific properties fit for purpose PEEK rods and cylinders are manufactured using hot compression to meet high specification customer engineering requirements.

As such, PEEK is used in a number of critical applications such as the industrial, food and beverage, medical and aerospace sectors.
